We've Added Kenro Company History Melmac and Melamine

Today I'm adding the Kenro Company History from Melmac Central which is a great resource on anyone looking up Kenro Plastics, such as Kenro's Ice Buckets, Melmac wares or Melamine dinnerwares. This company was from Freedonia Wisconsin, and at the time of this post , is technically still making plastics.

This free website is called the Melmac Encyclopedia as it showcases the best online links to vintage plastics history including melmac and melamine manufacturers , with itemized product lines; hence named the Melmac Encyclopedia. The name, Melmac Encyclopedia was chosen to mimic our sister site, Melmac Central. Do keep in mind not all plastic dinnerware is Melmac, as this was the registered trade name of powders sold by American Cyanamid. Therefore the dishes you have, may simply be "melamine" and not "Melmac." More simply put, only manufacturers that bought the powders through Am Cy could use the trade name. Over time companies and manufacturers would shop around for the cheapest resins/powders.
